Nature builds a biological computer for survival and pleasure maximization. It runs possible futures without external consequence, weighing alternatives toward an intelligent decision.

Ohad’s theory of the mind as a simulator: thoughts run possible futures, decoherence distorts them, and learning begins only when conjecture meets reality.

The inner interface is a self-dialectic: a non-dimensional discourse within the self. Its evolutionary purpose is practical—to make the best available move toward what you want, under present goals and constraints.

A seed, then a correction.
The reality boundary
The simulator can conjecture at high coherence, but it provides no learning by itself. Reality supplies the collision through which a conjecture can teach.
unresolved seam
The 2025 seed locates “compounding learning” inside the simulator. The 2026 layer relocates learning entirely to reality. The shelf preserves the contradiction rather than silently repairing it.

Coherence is the condition. Decoherence is the failure.
The simulator operates in a non-sterile emotional environment. Pain, randomness, and fear can cause compartmentalization: the person avoids the very region needed for an honest simulation, distorting or collapsing its result.

A goal and its constraints establish what a better move would mean.
02Simulate
The inner discourse runs unseen futures and compares possible outcomes.
03Conjecture
A candidate explanation or action survives the internal comparison.
04Meet reality
The event supplies criticism; only here can the conjecture become learning.
